The DeLOCK 64314 RS-232 serial converter, repeater and isolator provides galvanic isolation for RS-232 connections, protecting connected equipment such as computers, machines, controllers and measuring instruments from electromagnetic and electrostatic discharges and surge. Housed in a compact black plastic enclosure (33 × 63 × 17 mm), the device allows continuous data transmission even in the presence of earth or ground loops and can be connected directly between two DB9 ports without an external power supply.
