This Delock USB Type-C™ active optical cable connects a device with a USB-C connector to a PC or laptop with a free USB-C port. It uses optical fiber to transmit high-speed signals, offering a thinner, lighter and more flexible alternative to traditional copper cables while allowing signal transmission over longer distances without loss. The cable supports DisplayPort 2.1 (4 lanes), USB data transfer up to 10 Gbps and USB Power Delivery up to 60 W (20 V / 3 A). Note: compatible only with DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP alt mode) devices and not compatible with Thunderbolt™ devices.

Advantages

The active optical design provides reduced weight and increased flexibility compared with copper cables while maintaining high-bandwidth signal transmission. Support for DisplayPort 2.1 with four lanes enables connection to USB-C monitors up to 8K Ultra HD (7680 x 4320 @ 60 Hz). The cable also carries USB data at up to 10 Gbps and supplies power up to 60 W via USB Power Delivery, enabling a single-cable connection for video, data and power when the host device supports the required modes.
