DELOCK 84543 internal power cable is a 0.5 m splitter cable that converts one 4-pin PWM connector into two 4-pin PWM connectors. It is intended for internal use inside PC chassis and enables two PWM fans or devices to share a single PWM header for synchronized speed control and power distribution. The cable is supplied as a single piece and designed to preserve the PWM control signal while providing power to both connected devices.
The cable enables centralized fan control by duplicating the PWM signal and power line to two outputs without requiring additional motherboard headers. Its 22 AWG conductors and PVC jacket offer a balance between flexibility and durability for typical PC installations. With a rated maximum of 1 A at 12 V per overall cable and standardized 4-pin PWM connectors, the splitter maintains compatibility with common PWM fans and motherboard fan headers.
Insert the single 4-pin PWM female connector into the motherboard or controller PWM header, ensuring correct orientation so that the PWM and power pins align. Connect each of the two 4-pin PWM male connectors to the fans or PWM devices you wish to control. After connections are made, verify in the system BIOS or fan-control software that the motherboard recognizes the connected fans and that PWM control is active. Route the cable inside the chassis to avoid obstructing airflow or contact with moving parts.
Do not exceed the rated current and voltage. If combined fan current exceeds the cable rating, use a dedicated fan hub with independent power. Ensure connectors are firmly seated and avoid sharp bends near connector ends. For optimal cooling management, monitor fan speeds after installation and adjust BIOS or software settings as needed.
