Portable Air Conditioner De’Longhi PAC EM90 SILENT
The Portable Air Conditioner De’Longhi PAC EM90 SILENT is a freestanding climate control unit designed for cooling, dehumidifying and air circulation in medium to large rooms. Finished in white and engineered for reduced operational noise, the unit combines a maximum cooling capacity of 9800 BTU/h with an energy efficiency ratio of 2.6 W/W, allowing effective temperature control while maintaining moderate power consumption of around 1000 W. Compact footprint dimensions of 425 mm (W) × 345 mm (D) × 700 mm (H) make it suitable for placement against a wall or near a window outlet for exhaust piping.
The PAC EM90 SILENT operates at a declared noise level of 63 dB, which is positioned to reduce audible disturbance compared with louder models. It uses R290 refrigerant, a low-global-warming-potential refrigerating medium, and supports three primary modes: cooling, dehumidifying and fan-only operation. With a rated suitable room volume up to 90 m³ and a net weight of 31.5 kg, the unit balances mobility and stable operation while offering energy class A efficiency.
Position the portable air conditioner on a flat, level surface close to a window or wall opening for the exhaust hose. Ensure adequate clearance around the unit for unobstructed air intake and outlet. Install the exhaust hose and window kit according to the included installation instructions, connect to a properly grounded electrical outlet and select the desired mode (cooling, dehumidifying or fan) and temperature setpoint. Monitor drip tray or drainage instructions for extended dehumidifying operation and follow the manufacturer’s guidelines for filter cleaning and routine maintenance.
For optimal performance, keep doors and windows closed during cooling operation, clean or check the air filter regularly, and avoid placing heat-generating appliances close to the unit. Use the dehumidifying mode in humid conditions to improve comfort and efficiency, and allow sufficient ventilation for the exhaust hose to prevent heat recirculation.
