3D printing filament Devil Design PETG Blue 1 kg, 1.75 mm
Devil Design PETG Blue 1 kg, 1.75 mm is a general-purpose 3D printing filament made from Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol (PETG). Supplied on a ~20 cm spool with 1 kg of net material, this blue 1.75 mm filament is intended for FDM/FFF printers and is compatible with any extruder designed for 1.75 mm filament. The filament is vacuum packed with a moisture absorber to preserve print quality and reduce the risk of moisture-related defects. PETG offers a balance of strength, chemical resistance and ease of printing, making it suitable for functional parts, prototypes and decorative prints.
PETG combines the mechanical durability of PET-based materials with improved layer adhesion and reduced brittleness compared with some PLA variants. The Devil Design PETG filament arrives vacuum sealed with a desiccant to minimise moisture uptake during storage and transport. Its 1.75 mm diameter is manufactured to be compatible with a wide range of consumer and prosumer FDM printers, enabling straightforward loading and consistent extrusion when printer settings are adjusted appropriately.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into an FDM/FFF 3D printer compatible with this diameter. Recommended starting settings for PETG typically include a nozzle temperature in the range of 230–250 °C and a heated bed temperature around 70–85 °C, but exact values depend on the printer and nozzle. Ensure the spool can unwind smoothly from the ~20 cm reel and that filament path is free from sharp bends. Calibrate extrusion and retraction settings to reduce stringing and adjust print speed to balance surface quality and adhesion. Store unused filament in a sealed container with desiccant after opening to preserve its properties.
For best results with Devil Design PETG, start with manufacturer-typical PETG temperatures and perform a small calibration print to fine-tune extrusion multiplier, print speed and retraction. Use a clean, level build surface and consider a light adhesive (such as glue stick or PETG-specific bed adhesive) if additional bed adhesion is required. Keep the spool vacuum sealed until use and reseal or store with desiccant after opening to prevent moisture absorption.
