Filament spool devil design ABSplus 1.75 mm Black 2 kg for 3D printing
Devil Design ABSplus filament spool in black, 1.75 mm diameter and 2 kg net weight, designed for FDM/FFF 3D printing. The filament is supplied wound on a 20 cm diameter spool and packaged with a moisture absorber. ABSplus is a thermoplastic filament type that offers higher toughness and improved mechanical properties compared with basic ABS, and it is suitable for printing functional prototypes, durable parts and general-purpose objects where the typical properties of ABS-based materials are required.
The filament provides consistent diameter tolerance and good layer adhesion typical for ABSplus materials, enabling reliable printing of mechanically stressed parts. It is compatible with most FDM/FFF printers and can be post-processed by sanding, drilling or smoothing. The material is soluble in acetone for surface finishing and bonding, and vacuum packaging with a desiccant helps reduce moisture uptake before use.
Remove the spool from vacuum packaging and allow it to reach room temperature before loading. Install the filament on a compatible FDM/FFF printer and feed it through the extruder according to the printer manufacturer's instructions. Recommended printing parameters vary by machine and model; start with typical ABS settings for nozzle temperature and heated bed, calibrate extrusion and first layer adhesion, and print a small test part to confirm settings before longer prints.
Use a heated build platform and enclosure when possible to minimise warping. Store unused filament in dry conditions or vacuum-sealed with desiccant to prevent moisture absorption. For smoother surface finish, apply controlled acetone vapour smoothing or acetone-based bonding where appropriate, and perform standard mechanical post-processing such as sanding or drilling as needed.
