Devil Design PETG Black 1.75 mm is a 1 kg spool of PETG filament formulated for FDM/FFF 3D printing. Manufactured from polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG), this black filament provides good layer adhesion, dimensional stability and mechanical resistance suitable for functional parts and prototypes. The filament comes vacuum-packed with a desiccant to reduce moisture uptake and fits standard spools with a diameter of approximately 20 cm. It is compatible with most 1.75 mm extruders across different printer brands.
PETG combines the ease of use of PLA with improved toughness and chemical resistance, offering better impact strength and reduced brittleness. Devil Design's PETG exhibits reliable extrusion, consistent diameter tolerance for stable flow, and good interlayer bonding which reduces delamination in functional prints. The black color provides uniform finish and good coverage for parts where opacity and surface appearance matter.
Load the 1.75 mm PETG filament into an FDM/FFF printer following the printer manufacturer's filament loading procedure. Typical print settings for PETG are a nozzle temperature in the range of 230–250°C and a bed temperature between 60–80°C; adjust temperatures, print speed and cooling based on your specific printer and part geometry. Use a clean, level print bed and a suitable adhesion method such as PEI, glue stick, or blue tape as required. Keep extrusion retraction settings moderate to reduce stringing, and allow parts to cool gradually to minimize warping.
Store vacuum-packed spools in a dry place and reseal or use desiccant after opening to prevent moisture absorption. Test small calibration prints to fine-tune extrusion temperature and retraction for optimal surface finish and mechanical properties. For long-term dimensional stability of functional parts, avoid prolonged exposure to high humidity and high temperatures.
