Filament spool Devil Design PLA navy 1.75 mm 1 kg for 3D printing
Devil Design PLA navy 1.75 mm 1 kg is a polylactic acid filament spool designed for FDM/FFF 3D printers. The filament has a nominal diameter of 1.75 mm and is supplied as a single 1 kg spool wound on a 20 cm-diameter reel and packaged with moisture protection. The material is a biodegradable thermoplastic polyester derived from renewable resources and is suitable for general-purpose prototyping, models and decorative prints. The spool is compatible with printers from any brand that accept standard 1.75 mm PLA filament.
PLA filament offers reliable, low-warp printing with good layer adhesion and relatively low extrusion temperatures compared with many engineering plastics. The navy colour provides consistent appearance for aesthetic parts and visual prototypes. Being vacuum packed with a desiccant reduces moisture-related printing issues and extends storage life of the filament prior to opening.
Load the spool onto the printer’s filament holder and feed the filament through the extruder according to your printer manufacturer’s instructions. Recommended printing temperatures for PLA typically range between 180–220 °C; adjust within that range to optimise adhesion and surface finish for your specific printer and nozzle. Use a heated bed if available (about 40–60 °C) or apply appropriate build-surface adhesion aids. Allow the spool to acclimatise if unpacked from vacuum packaging before printing to avoid moisture-related defects.
Store unopened spools in a dry environment and keep the desiccant inside the packaging until use. After opening, store the filament on a spool in a sealed container with desiccant to minimise moisture absorption. For better dimensional accuracy and surface quality, calibrate extrusion multiplier and print at moderate speeds suited to PLA.
