3D printing filament Devil Design PLA 1.75 mm Brown 1 kg spool
Devil Design PLA 1.75 mm Brown is a general-purpose 3D printing filament supplied on a 1 kg spool. Made from polylactic acid (PLA), a biodegradable thermoplastic polyester derived from renewable resources, this filament is suitable for desktop FDM/FFF printers that accept 1.75 mm filament. The spool is vacuum packed with a desiccant to reduce moisture absorption during storage and comes in a brown color appropriate for prototypes, hobby models and visual parts.
This PLA filament offers consistent diameter and good layer adhesion for reliable extrusion and dimensional stability in standard printing conditions. Its 1.75 mm thickness is compatible with a wide range of consumer and open-source FDM/FFF printers. Being PLA, it prints at relatively low nozzle temperatures, has low warping, and requires no heated enclosure for most prints. The vacuum packaging with an included moisture absorber helps preserve filament quality between uses.
Load the filament into a compatible FDM/FFF printer configured for 1.75 mm filament. Typical nozzle temperature settings for PLA range from 190–220°C depending on printer and model geometry; start near 200°C and adjust as needed for flow and layer adhesion. Use a print bed temperature of 20–60°C or cold bed with adhesive aid (such as glue stick or blue painter's tape) if necessary to improve first-layer adhesion. Feed the filament slowly during initial extrusion to purge any residual material and confirm smooth, continuous flow before starting a print.
Store the filament in its vacuum packaging with the desiccant between uses. If the filament absorbs moisture (evidenced by popping sounds or rough surface finish during printing), dry it in a filament dryer or a low-temperature oven (40–50°C) for several hours before printing. For best results, calibrate extrusion multiplier and retraction settings for your printer and slicing profile when switching colors or brands.
