Devil design PETG 1.75 mm filament on a 1 kg spool in Aluminium color is a PETG thermoplastic filament formulated for FDM/FFF 3D printers. With a nominal diameter of 1.75 mm and a neutral metallic shade, this filament is intended for printing durable, impact-resistant parts and mechanical components. It offers a balance of strength, chemical resistance and ease of printing compared with standard PLA, making it suitable for functional prototypes, housings and assembled parts where improved toughness is required.
The filament combines the mechanical robustness of PETG with good layer adhesion and reduced brittleness, giving printed parts greater impact resistance and longevity. Its aluminium color provides a neutral, technical appearance suitable for visible components and enclosures. The 1 kg spool format supports medium-length print projects and reduces the need for frequent spool changes. The material is compatible with most FDM/FFF printers that accept 1.75 mm filament and prints without the high warping tendencies of some engineering plastics.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into a compatible FDM/FFF 3D printer following the printer manufacturer’s instructions. Recommended print settings vary by printer and model geometry; begin with a nozzle temperature commonly used for PETG (typically around 230–250 °C) and a heated bed set to a moderate temperature (commonly 60–80 °C). Use a moderate print speed, enable retraction settings appropriate for PETG to minimize stringing, and consider a brim or adhesion aid for parts with small contact areas. Allow printed parts to cool gradually to avoid excessive internal stresses.
Store the filament in a dry environment or sealed with desiccant to preserve print quality. When printing functional or load-bearing parts, perform test prints and adjust temperatures, cooling and extrusion multiplier to optimise dimensional accuracy and interlayer bonding.
