Filament reel devil design PLA 1.75 mm 1 kg — Dark Brown
devil design PLA 1.75 mm filament in Dark Brown is a 1 kg spool of biodegradable polylactic acid material formulated for desktop FDM 3D printers. The filament diameter of 1.75 mm is compatible with a wide range of consumer and prosumer hotends, providing consistent extrusion for prototypes, models and decorative parts. PLA offers low warping, easy layer adhesion and a smooth surface finish suitable for visible components and general-purpose printing when used with appropriate temperature and bed settings.
This PLA filament provides reliable dimensional stability and predictable extrusion behaviour, which supports repeatable prints and reduces failed attempts. It prints at relatively low nozzle temperatures, minimizes stringing and warping compared with many engineering plastics, and delivers good surface quality that is easy to post-process by sanding or painting. The Dark Brown colour gives a natural, wood-like appearance for aesthetic parts or functional prototypes.
Load the 1.75 mm PLA filament into an FDM 3D printer following the printer manufacturer's filament loading procedure. Set the nozzle temperature according to the printer and hotend; common starting points for PLA are 190–220°C. Use a heated bed if available and set it to around 40–60°C, or employ blue painter's tape, PEI sheet or glue stick on an unheated bed to improve adhesion. Calibrate extrusion multiplier and first-layer height to achieve consistent flow and layer bonding. Allow printed parts to cool gradually to reduce the risk of deformation.
Use dry storage for the spool to prevent moisture absorption; if the filament has absorbed moisture, dry it in a filament dryer or low-temperature oven before printing. For best appearance, adjust print speed and cooling: moderate speeds with active part cooling typically yield smoother surfaces on PLA. When painting or finishing, sand progressively with fine grit and use appropriate primers for improved adhesion.
