How to use

Fit the appropriate collet and router bit, then secure the bit using the spindle lock and supplied spanner. Set the desired depth using the plunge base fine-tune rod and the adjustable turret for stepped or repeated plunges. Select a speed within the 16,000–27,000 RPM range suitable for the material and bit diameter, then switch on the router and allow the electronic speed control to stabilise before engaging the workpiece. Maintain steady, controlled passes and use the parallel fence or a template where required. When changing accessories or converting to a fixed base, disconnect from the mains power first.

Usage recommendations

Use sharp, manufacturer-recommended router bits and appropriate feed rates to avoid overload. For prolonged tasks or harder materials such as aluminium, reduce speed and make shallower passes.
