SDS-max Chisel with Handle DeWalt DT8087 600 mm
SDS-max Chisel with Handle DeWalt DT8087 600 mm
DeWalt DT8087 SDS-max Chisel with Handle, 600 mm, is designed for heavy-duty chiselling and demolition in concrete and masonry. The 600 mm length provides extended reach for deeper channels and working in confined areas while the integrated handle improves control and grip during prolonged use. The chisel is compatible with SDS-max rotary hammers and intended for professional construction, renovation and removal tasks where precise material removal and user stability are required.
The SDS-max chisel includes an integrated handle that reduces vibration transfer and gives the operator a more secure grip for controlled strikes and guided chiselling. Its robust construction is designed to withstand repeated impact in concrete and masonry. The extended 600 mm length allows safer working at depth and reduces the need for awkward body positions, while compatibility with SDS-max rotary hammers ensures reliable retention and fast tool changes.
Insert the SDS-max shank into the rotary hammer according to the host tool manufacturer’s instructions until it locks securely. Position the chisel tip on the work surface and apply steady, guided pressure while operating the rotary hammer at the recommended mode for chiselling or demolition. Use the integrated handle to stabilise the tool and maintain control of the strike direction. Periodically check the chisel tip for wear and replace or resharpen as required to maintain performance.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection, hearing protection and gloves. Select the rotary hammer’s mode and impact settings suitable for the material being worked on, and allow the tool to do the work without applying excessive force. Store the chisel in a dry place and inspect the handle and shank before each use for damage.
