Active USB 3.2 Gen1 (5 Gbit/s) extension cable USB-C to USB-C, 10 m length, designed to extend USB-C connections while preserving up to 5 Gbit/s SuperSpeed data transfer. The cable features an integrated active signal amplifier and magnetic shielding to reduce interference. It is black, plug & play, and intended to bridge longer distances between USB-C hosts and devices such as external drives, docking stations or hubs without loss of throughput.
The active design maintains stable data rates up to 5 Gbit/s over the full 10 m length by using an integrated signal amplifier. Double shielding and a magnetically shielded construction reduce electromagnetic interference for reliable transfers. The cable is universally compatible with USB-C hosts and devices and supports plug & play operation. An included USB-C power connection enables additional DC 5 V power supply when required to support devices with higher power needs.
Connect the USB-C plug end to the host device (PC, laptop or docking station) and insert the USB-C socket end to the downstream device (external drive, hub, webcam). If a connected device requires additional power, attach the included USB-C power cable to a 5 V DC power supply before or after making the data connection. The cable is plug & play and does not require driver installation for standard USB data use.
For reliable operation keep the total cascaded extension length at or below 20 m and use the provided external 5 V power supply when connecting devices with increased power consumption. Avoid sharp bends and strong mechanical strain on connectors; route the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources to maintain optimal signal quality.
