Diamond Blade Distar ELITE MAX 232 x 2.5 x 70 mm TURBO for Cutting
Diamond Blade Distar ELITE MAX 232 x 2.5 x 70 mm TURBO for Cutting
The Distar ELITE MAX 232 x 2.5 x 70 mm TURBO diamond blade is a thin, turbo-rim cutting wheel designed for use on angle grinders and compatible saws with a 70 mm arbor. The turbo rim profile combines a continuous segmented edge with aggressive gullets to speed up cutting while facilitating debris removal. Intended for contractors and DIY users, this blade is optimized for cutting concrete, masonry, natural stone and similar construction materials where a balance of cutting speed and edge life is required.
The turbo rim design provides faster cutting rates compared with standard continuous-rim blades while maintaining a clean kerf. A slim 2.5 mm cutting width reduces material waste and decreases load on the machine, enabling smoother operation and lower vibration. The blade construction and diamond bond are formulated to work effectively on abrasive building materials, giving consistent performance across concrete, brick, paving and stone.
This blade is not intended for dry precision tile work that requires a completely chip-free finish; the turbo profile can leave a slightly rougher edge compared with a fine continuous-rim blade. It is also not designed for cutting highly reinforced structural steel or non-ferrous metals — such applications require blades specifically rated for metal cutting.
Install the diamond blade on an angle grinder or saw with a 70 mm arbor, ensuring the rotation direction marked on the blade matches the tool. Secure the blade flange and guard, and check the tightness before operation. For best results, use steady, even feed pressure without forcing the blade; allow the diamond segments to work at their own rate. Where possible, use water cooling or intermittent cutting with pauses to reduce dust and heat when cutting dense materials. Follow the tool manufacturer's safety instructions and wear appropriate personal protective equipment including eye, ear and respiratory protection.
Use the Distar ELITE MAX TURBO blade for general construction cutting tasks where speed and debris clearance are priorities. For delicate or chip-free tile finishing, choose a fine continuous-rim blade instead. Regularly inspect the blade for wear and replace it when segment height is reduced or cutting performance declines.
