Diamond Cup Wheel Distar DGS-W 125/22.23-7 — 125 mm diamond cup grinding wheel, 22.23 mm bore
Distar DGS-W 125/22.23-7 is a 125 mm diamond cup grinding wheel with a 22.23 mm bore designed for surface grinding and profiling of concrete, stone and other mineral materials. The cup shape ensures stable contact with the work surface, while industrial diamond segments provide consistent cutting action and extended service life. This wheel is intended for tasks such as edge chamfering, leveling uneven surfaces and preparing substrates prior to coating or polishing.
The diamond segments on this 125 mm cup wheel combine wear resistance and aggressive material removal to maintain performance over repeated use. Its cup geometry offers good stability and control during grinding, reducing vibration and enabling more uniform surface profiling. The standard 22.23 mm bore fits most angle grinders with compatible arbor adapters, simplifying mounting and replacement. The construction is suitable for both coarse stock removal and intermediate surface preparation on dense mineral substrates.
Mount the diamond cup wheel on an angle grinder with a compatible 22.23 mm arbor. Before operation, check the wheel for damage and ensure the grinder's guard and personal protective equipment are in place. Start the grinder and bring the cup wheel to the workpiece at a slight angle for initial stock removal, then use flatter contact for finishing and leveling. Apply steady, moderate pressure and keep the wheel moving to avoid creating grooves or overheating the material. Allow the wheel to cool periodically during extended grinding sessions.
Use with an appropriate speed-rated angle grinder and follow the grinder manufacturer's safety instructions. Wear eye, hearing and respiratory protection when grinding mineral materials. For best results on very hard or reinforced concrete, select a diamond wheel grade and bond compatible with the substrate and consider testing on a small area first.
