DJI E-Port Development Kit – DJI compatible module for Matrice 350 RTK, Matrice 300 RTK, Matrice 30/30T

The DJI E-Port Development Kit is a compact interface module designed for integration and prototyping on DJI platforms such as the Matrice 350 RTK, Matrice 300 RTK and Matrice 30/30T. When it may not be suitable

The development kit is intended for integration and testing rather than finished consumer products. How to use

Mount the development kit in a secure position on the aircraft where it cannot contact moving parts or the aircraft arms. Connect third‑party devices to the appropriate XT30 power outputs, USB 2.0 port or UART/PPS port according to their power and data requirements. During development and debugging, use the UART/PPS connection for control and timing signals and rely on the USB 2.0 port for data transfer when supported. Monitor power draw when multiple XT30 ports are used to keep total output within the aircraft’s capabilities.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm mechanical fit and mounting location to avoid contact with aircraft arms or components
• Verify the power requirements of connected payloads and ensure combined draw stays within aircraft output limits
• Plan for heat dissipation and electromagnetic shielding if integrating the module into a finished payload

Usage recommendations

Place the adapter board where it cannot touch the aircraft arms to prevent short circuits; if integrating into a payload, design a thermal dissipation path and a metal shielding cover. If any sparks, smoke or unusual smells are detected, disconnect power immediately. When using all three XT30 ports, keep total output below the aircraft’s maximum available power and design payloads within the specified output limits.
