Product information

Description

The DJI Osmo 360 Adventure Combo is a compact 360° action camera that records native 8K (7680×3840) panoramic video and captures ultra-high-resolution 120 MP 360° photos. It combines a dual 1-inch imaging design with a fast f/1.9 aperture, 10-bit color, and D-Log M support to deliver wide dynamic range and improved low-light performance. The kit includes the camera, multiple batteries, an invisible selfie stick and accessories aimed at outdoor sports, travel and vlogging.

Advantages

Osmo 360 provides native 8K/30fps 360° video, up to 4K high-frame-rate capture for slow motion, and up to 100 minutes of continuous 8K recording on a single charge. The camera has built-in 105 GB storage, Wi‑Fi 6 and USB 3.1 for fast transfers, four microphones for stereo audio, IP68 waterproofing to 10 m, and a light 183 g body that supports magnetic quick-release accessories and direct microphone connections.

Suitable for

  • Extreme sports and action filming (skiing, cycling, motorcycling)
  • Travel and immersive 360° landscape capture
  • Vlogging and first-person POV videos using single-lens mode
  • Night and low-light shooting with SuperNight mode

When it may not be suitable

Although the camera body is rated IP68 and can be used down to 10 m without a case, prolonged or high-impact underwater use is not recommended because of potential image distortion from the fisheye lenses and water pressure effects. Professional underwater cinematography requiring long-duration dives or extreme depths will need a dedicated housing and specialized equipment.

Key specifications

  • Panoramic video resolutions: up to 8K (7680×3840) at 24/25/30/48/50 fps; 6K and 4K high-frame-rate options
  • Single-lens video: up to 5K/60fps; Ultra-wide Boost: 4K/120fps
  • Max photo resolution: 120 MP panoramic (15520×7760); single-lens photo up to ~30.7 MP
  • Sensor / Aperture: dual 1/1.1-inch CMOS modules, f/1.9
  • Color & dynamic range: 10-bit color depth, D-Log M support, 13.5 stops dynamic range (manufacturer claim)
  • Stabilization: HorizonSteady and RockSteady 3.0 electronic image stabilization
  • Built-in storage: 128 GB (approximately 105 GB available); expandable via microSD (up to 1 TB)
  • Display: 2.0" touchscreen (314×556), 800 cd/m² brightness
  • Audio: four microphones, stereo recording, wind-noise reduction; direct microphone transmitter connection supported
  • Connectivity: Wi‑Fi 6.0, Bluetooth BLE 5.1, USB 3.1 (high-speed wired transfer)
  • Battery: Li-ion 1950 mAh; operating range -20° to 45° C; up to 100 minutes 8K/30fps continuous recording (lab conditions)
  • Weight and dimensions: 183 g; 61 × 36.3 × 81 mm
  • Ingress protection: IP68 waterproof to 10 m (camera body only)

How to use

Power on the camera, choose panoramic 360° or single-lens mode, and select your resolution and frame rate from the on-screen menu. Use the 2" touchscreen for framing and access camera settings; enable SuperNight for low-light scenes or switch to D-Log M and 10-bit recording when you plan to grade footage in post-production. For third-person invisible-selfie views, attach the invisible selfie stick and use Selfie Mode exports. For extended shoots, connect the Battery Extension Rod to increase recording time and enable magnetic charging.

What to consider before purchase

  • Check required resolutions and frame rates for your projects (8K/30fps vs 4K/100–240fps)
  • Plan for storage: large 8K files benefit from high-capacity microSD cards and fast workflows
  • Underwater use: IP68 body supports up to 10 m but consider housing for prolonged or deep dives
  • Accessory compatibility: Osmo magnetic quick-release works with Osmo Action accessories and standard 1/4" mounts

Usage recommendations

For best results, record high-dynamic-range scenes in 10-bit D-Log M and use fast microSD cards or the built-in storage for 8K footage. When shooting underwater or in windy conditions, use protective accessories and external microphones or the Battery Extension Rod for longer sessions. Enable HorizonSteady or RockSteady 3.0 depending on whether you are shooting 360° or single-lens footage.

International Protection (IP) code: The IP code classifies and rates the degree of protection provided against the intrusion (including body parts such as hands and fingers), dust, accidental contact, and water by mechanical casings and electrical enclosures. It is published by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The digits (characteristic numerals) indicate conformity with the conditions summarized in the tables below. Where there is no protection rating with regard to one of the criteria, the digit is replaced with the letter X. an electrical socket rated IP22 is protected against insertion of fingers and will not be damaged or become unsafe during a specified test in which it is exposed to vertically or nearly vertically dripping water. Another example is the Sony Xperia Z Ultra, one of the first cellular phones to be IP-rated; it is rated at IP58 and marketed as "dust resistant" and can be "immersed in 1.5 meter of freshwater for up to 30 minutes".
