Bracket (angle) DMX KB2 120×80×35×4 mm — narrow beam support
Metal bracket DMX KB2, size 120×80×35×4 mm, designed as a narrow-beam right-angle support for joining joists, beams and other structural elements. Manufactured from galvanized S235 steel with a 4 mm thickness, the bracket provides a rigid connection for frames, shelving and repairs where a compact, sturdy joint is required. Perforation pattern alternates holes to reduce the risk of splitting when fixing to wood.
The bracket is made of galvanized S235 steel for corrosion resistance and durability. Its 4 mm thickness and rated load capacity of 8.62 kN ensure reliable support in typical carpentry and construction tasks. Alternating hole placement minimises overlapping fastener stress in the same wood fibres, reducing splitting risk. Compatible with common wood fasteners and screws for straightforward installation.
Position the bracket so the mating faces align at a right angle and mark fastener locations using the existing holes as guides. Use appropriate fasteners — carpenter's nails ø 4 mm or wood screws ø 4 mm / ø 6 mm — depending on the substrate and required holding strength. Drive nails or screws alternating between holes to follow the bracket's staggered perforation pattern. Ensure the bracket sits flush and check alignment before fully tightening fasteners.
For best results on timber, use fasteners recommended in the specifications and avoid placing multiple fasteners in the same wood fibres; the bracket's alternating hole pattern helps reduce splitting. Verify load requirements for your application and, if necessary, use additional brackets or reinforcement to achieve required safety margins.
