Video intercom DoorBird D2104V — stainless steel, IP65, IR LED, 10 m motion sensor, PoE (IEEE 802.3af), 10/100 Mbps
DoorBird D2104V is an outdoor video intercom in stainless steel designed for access control and visitor communication at residential and commercial entrances. The unit offers night vision via an IR LED, a built-in speaker for two-way communication, IP65-rated weather protection and Power over Ethernet (PoE, IEEE 802.3af) on a 10/100 Mbps network interface. Its compact dimensions allow installation in constrained doorframe or wall locations.
The stainless steel housing provides durable, corrosion-resistant protection suitable for outdoor use. Integrated night-vision with IR LED and a motion sensor with up to 10 m detection range improve identification and event triggering in low-light conditions. PoE support simplifies installation by combining power and network over a single cable, and the built-in speaker enables direct voice communication with visitors without additional equipment.
Mount the DoorBird D2104V on a suitable outdoor surface following local mounting and wiring regulations. Connect the device to the network using a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet cable and supply power via a PoE switch or injector compatible with IEEE 802.3af. Configure the unit through the DoorBird setup interface to enable audio, video, motion detection and network settings. Position the unit so the camera and motion sensor cover the desired approach path.
For optimal performance, install the intercom at a height and angle that provides clear visibility of visitors and avoids direct glare into the camera. Use a PoE switch rated for outdoor or sheltered installations when the switch location is exposed to dust or moisture, and test motion-sensor range after installation to adjust placement and sensitivity as needed.
