Weather Station TFA-Dostmann View Breeze Black
The VIEW BREEZE Wireless Weather Station with Wi‑Fi from dostmann electronic provides local measurements of indoor and outdoor temperature, humidity, wind and air pressure while also integrating professional online forecasts when connected to the Internet. The unit receives data from two supplied external transmitters — a thermo‑hygro transmitter for outdoor temperature and humidity and an anemometer for wind strength — transmitted up to 100 m outdoors to the base station. An integrated electronic barometer measures air pressure, and the colour display shows both local measurements and, when online, a continuously updated 12‑hour forecast for your region. The station also supports up to four additional compatible transmitters and can operate as a fully functional standalone weather station without an Internet connection.
The compact black housing and high‑contrast colour display (three adjustable brightness levels with automatic night dimming) allow clear reading of current and historical data. The station displays indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, wind strength (and wind direction when online), air pressure, dew point, perceived "wind chill" temperature, and max/min values. Connection to the free TFA VIEW app enables WLAN integration, remote access worldwide, viewing of 30‑day records, alert limit setup and push notifications. The unit supports AC or battery operation and accepts up to 50 radio transmitters in the app for extended monitoring.
Place the base station in a suitable indoor location and position the external thermo‑hygro transmitter and anemometer outdoors within the stated radio range (up to 100 m line‑of‑sight). Install the required batteries or connect AC power. Download the free TFA VIEW app and follow the in‑app instructions to integrate the station into the local WLAN. When offline, the station displays measurements locally and operates as a standalone device. When connected to the Internet, the station receives professional online forecasts and additional details such as wind direction and probability of rain; the display will show a small symbol indicating online data sources.
To ensure reliable measurements, install the outdoor transmitters in shaded, well‑ventilated locations away from direct sunlight and reflective surfaces. Maintain clear line‑of‑sight where possible between transmitters and the base station to preserve radio range. Regularly check battery status in the app or on the device and follow the TFA VIEW app prompts for firmware updates and alarm configuration.
