Digital alarm clock TFA-Dostmann 60.5016.01
The TFA-Dostmann 60.5016.01 digital radio-controlled projection alarm clock projects the current time in red digits onto a wall or ceiling and also shows the room temperature on its display. It synchronises time automatically via the DCF-77 signal, provides date and weekday without manual setting, and offers alarm and snooze functions. The device runs on AC power or AA batteries (1.5 V); with batteries only, projection and display illumination are temporarily activated by button press, while a permanently lit projection requires the supplied mains adapter.
The projection shows time and alarm symbol in clear red digits for easy night-time reading. Built-in radio time reception keeps time accurate to the second. Two brightness levels for projection and display illumination allow adaptation to different light conditions or complete switch-off. The integrated temperature readout helps monitor bedroom climate for restful sleep. Dual power options (mains or AA batteries) provide flexibility of placement.
Connect the clock to mains using the supplied adapter for continuous projection, or insert AA batteries for portable use. Position the unit so the projector faces the desired wall or ceiling surface. The clock will automatically set time, date and weekday via the DCF-77 signal; allow a short period for initial reception. Use the control buttons to set the alarm time and enable snooze. Adjust projection and display brightness using the corresponding buttons or switch them off if not required. When running on batteries only, press the projection/display button to activate illumination for a few seconds.
Place the unit on a stable nightstand or shelf with a flat, light-coloured surface in the projection direction for best readability. For uninterrupted projection use the supplied mains adapter; if using batteries, keep spare AA cells available and test reception of the DCF-77 signal in your location to ensure correct automatic time setting.
