Holesaw DRAUMET bi-metal crown drill 30 mm, model 9032657
Bi-metal hole saw DRAUMET Kroņurbis BI-metal 30 mm (DRAUMET 9032657) is made from HSS tool steel with M2 high-carbon steel cutting edge. It is designed for drilling through steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, aluminium, wood and plastic. The tool features an M14 thread and a HEX mounting method. Diameter: 30 mm; cutting depth: 37 mm.
The bi-metal construction combines durability of HSS tool steel with toughness of M2 high-carbon steel, providing extended life and resistance to heat and wear. The M14 thread and HEX mounting ensure secure and universal attachment to compatible drill arbors and machines. Compact 30 mm diameter and 37 mm cutting depth allow accurate through-hole and plunge cutting in a range of materials.
Securely attach the hole saw to a compatible arbor or drill with an M14/HEX connection. Mark the centre of the hole and start drilling at low speed to create a guide. Increase speed as appropriate for the workpiece material while applying steady, moderate pressure. Use cutting fluid or cooling when drilling metal to extend tool life. After cutting, retract the saw and remove any core material from the cup.
For best results, use with a drill capable of stable RPM control, apply cutting lubricant when working with steels, and avoid excessive side force. Inspect the saw before use and replace if teeth show significant wear or damage.
