Hole saw DRAUMET BI‑metal d 105 mm — DRAUMET 9032824
Hole saw DRAUMET BI‑metal d 105 mm — DRAUMET 9032824
Bi-metal hole saw made from HSS tool steel and M2 high-carbon steel, designed for cutting holes with a diameter of 105 mm and a drilling depth of 34 mm. It features an M14 thread and a HEX mounting system suitable for compatible arbors and drills. The DRAUMET BI‑metal d 105 mm hole saw is intended for cutting through steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, aluminum, wood and plastics when using appropriate speed and coolant.
The bi-metal construction combines HSS cutting edges with a flexible high-carbon steel body to provide durability and resistance to breakage. A 105 mm diameter enables larger hole cutting while the 34 mm cutting depth handles thicker panels. M14 thread and HEX mounting provide secure attachment and compatibility with common drill arbors and angle grinders that accept M14 accessories.
Mount the hole saw onto a compatible M14 arbor with HEX connection, ensuring the arbor is secure before operation. Select appropriate rotational speed for the material being cut: lower speeds for stainless steel and other hard metals, higher speeds for wood and plastics. Use steady pressure and avoid excessive feed to prevent overheating. For metal cutting, apply cutting fluid or coolant to extend tool life and improve cutting performance. Clear chips regularly to maintain cutting efficiency.
Use protective equipment (gloves, eye protection) and clamp workpieces securely. When drilling metals, run the tool at reduced speed with cutting fluid; when cutting wood or plastics, increase speed and remove chips frequently. Replace the hole saw if teeth become worn or damaged to ensure safe and accurate cutting.
