D.Rect A4 Clear Sleeve 50 micron, Pack of 100 is a set of transparent polypropylene sleeves sized for A4 documents. Each sleeve has a 50 micron thickness intended to protect paper from dirt, smudges and light wear while keeping text and images visible. The pack contains 100 sleeves suitable for everyday filing, presentations and short-term document handling in office, school or home environments.
Advantages
The clear sleeves provide an unobstructed view of A4 documents while offering a lightweight protective layer. Their 50 micron polypropylene construction balances flexibility and tear resistance for routine handling. Being transparent and acid-free in typical polypropylene form, sleeves help maintain document legibility and reduce the need for frequent reprinting. The pack format supplies a practical quantity for small offices, classrooms or personal filing needs.
Suitable for
- Protecting single A4 pages in folders, binders and ring files
- Presentations, handouts and reports where document visibility is important
- Everyday office and school use for receipts, certificates and informational sheets
- Short-term storage and distribution of printed materials
When it may not be suitable
These 50 micron sleeves provide basic protection but are not meant for long-term archival storage of valuable or sensitive documents. They do not offer full waterproofing or heavy-duty tear resistance and are not a substitute for laminated materials where higher protection is required.
Key specifications
- Format: A4 (sized to fit standard A4 paper)
- Material: transparent polypropylene
- Thickness: 50 micron
- Quantity: 100 sleeves per pack
- Finish: clear/transparent surface for unobstructed viewing
How to use
Insert an A4 sheet into the sleeve so the document is fully covered and aligned with the edges. Use sleeves inside ring binders, folders or lever-arch files as required; if using punched binders, ensure the sleeve is compatible with the binding method or transfer the sheet to punched protector pockets if needed. Store packs flat and away from direct sunlight and heat to preserve the polypropylene shape and clarity.
What to consider before purchase
- Confirm that 50 micron thickness meets your protection needs (basic protection vs. archival or laminated protection)
- Check compatibility with your binder type if you require punched holes or reinforced edges
- Ensure quantity (100) suits your filing or distribution volume
Usage recommendations
For best results, avoid exposing stored sleeves to prolonged direct sunlight or high temperatures. Use them for routine document handling, presentations and short-term storage; for important or archival documents consider higher-thickness sleeves or lamination.
