VGA Cable e+p HD15/HD15 3.0m
The e+p HD15/HD15 VGA Cable 3.0 m (CC 256/3) is a D-Sub video cable designed for transmitting analog RGB video between computers, monitors and projectors. The cable features molded connector housings with ferrites at both ends for improved interference suppression and strain relief. It combines three coaxial leads for the RGB signals with seven AWG28 signal leads and selectively shielded coaxial cores to maintain high-frequency signal integrity.
Built-in ferrites at both connector ends reduce electromagnetic interference. Molded housings provide reliable strain relief and durable connector protection. Three coaxial cores and selective shielding enhance HF performance for clearer analog video transmission. Standard 15‑pin HD D-Sub connectors ensure broad compatibility with VGA ports.
Plug the 15‑pin HD connector into the VGA/D-Sub output of the computer and the matching 15‑pin HD connector into the VGA/D-Sub input of the monitor or projector. Ensure connectors are fully seated and secure any thumbscrews if present. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; the molded housings provide additional strain relief at the connector ends.
For optimal video quality, keep cable runs as short as practical and avoid running the VGA cable parallel to high-power mains cables. Use the ferrites and the molded housings to minimize interference and mechanical stress; if longer distances or higher resolutions are required, consider using digital interfaces or signal extenders.
