Mounting plate EATON BPZ-MPL200-400 200×400 mm steel (MPN 114805)
EATON BPZ-MPL200-400 is a steel mounting plate with dimensions 200×400 mm intended for installation of electrical devices inside enclosures and control cabinets. The flat, rigid plate is supplied as a bare steel surface to allow custom drilling and mounting of components such as circuit breakers, terminal blocks, DIN rails and other auxiliary devices. Its compact size fits standard small-to-medium electrical enclosures and provides a stable base for secure fastening of equipment.
The steel construction offers mechanical strength and a stable platform for mounting electrical components, while the bare plate format enables flexible drilling patterns and placement options to match specific installation requirements. The uniform flat surface simplifies alignment of DIN rails and devices, and the plate’s dimensions are compatible with common cabinet layouts, reducing the need for additional adapter plates. As a simple, uncoated plate it is suitable for custom finishing, painting or grounding as required by the installation.
Plan the mounting layout according to the components to be installed and the enclosure’s internal dimensions. Mark and drill holes or cutouts on the plate as required for screws, DIN rail clips or cable passages. Secure the plate to the enclosure’s internal mounting points using suitable fasteners and ensure the plate is properly grounded if required by the installation. Attach devices such as circuit breakers, terminal blocks or DIN rails to the prepared plate following the manufacturers’ instructions for each component.
For safe and reliable operation, use corrosion protection or paint when the plate will be exposed to humid environments, and follow applicable electrical installation standards for grounding and clearances. Select appropriate fasteners and insulation as needed to maintain creepage and clearance distances for live parts.
