Eaton M22-PVT45P Mushroom Pushbutton Switch, Black, Red, Yellow
The Eaton M22-PVT45P is a robust mushroom-style emergency stop pushbutton switch engineered for industrial control panels and automation systems. This high-quality component is designed to provide reliable emergency switching off functionality, ensuring safety in demanding operational environments. Featuring a distinct palm-tree shape with a 45 mm diameter, the switch is highly visible and easy to operate, meeting stringent safety standards for machinery and electrical equipment.
This emergency pushbutton offers exceptional durability and reliability, featuring a tamper-proof design that complies with ISO 13850 and EN 418 standards. Its high degree of protection, rated at IP66, IP67, and IP69K, ensures that the device remains fully functional even when exposed to dust, water, and high-pressure cleaning processes. The turn-to-release mechanism provides a secure and intuitive way to reset the system after an emergency stop has been triggered, while the clear color coding of the red mushroom head and yellow base enhances visibility for rapid identification.
This switch is not suitable for applications requiring illuminated status indication, as it is a non-illuminated model. Additionally, it is not designed for direct connection to SmartWire-DT systems and must be used with compatible mechanical contact blocks.
The Eaton M22-PVT45P is designed for panel mounting. To install, secure the unit into the designated panel cutout. Attach the required contact blocks to the rear of the actuator, ensuring you do not exceed the maximum capacity of four M22-(C)K01/10 contacts or two M22-(C)K02/20/11 contacts. In an emergency, press the red mushroom head to activate the stop function. To reset the system, rotate the head according to the turn-to-release mechanism until the switch returns to its original position.
Regularly inspect the switch for mechanical integrity and ensure the turn-to-release function operates smoothly. Always verify that the contact blocks are securely fastened and that the device remains free of debris to maintain its IP69K protection rating.
