The ΣCASA ΣShock is a compact wireless indoor shock sensor powered by a CR2032 battery (3.6V). Designed for discreet installation on doors, windows, safes, drawers or cabinets, it detects impacts and sends alerts via the ΣCASA system when suspicious shocks occur. The sensor works as a member device of the ΣCASA smart home family and must be connected to the ΣCentral controller to enable remote notifications and centralized monitoring.
ΣShock provides fast detection of non-destructive entry attempts by sensing shocks and vibrations on protected surfaces. Its small size allows installation in tight spaces without being obtrusive. As a wireless device compatible with the ΣCASA ecosystem, it relays events to ΣCentral for immediate notification to your mobile phone. The unit runs on a single CR2032 battery, making it low-power and easy to maintain.
Mount the ΣShock on a clean, dry surface where impacts or vibrations are expected, such as the edge of a window frame, door jamb, safe or drawer. Ensure the sensor is paired with the ΣCentral controller following the ΣCASA pairing procedure and place the battery correctly. Once connected, test the sensor by creating a light tap on the protected surface and confirm that ΣCentral receives the event and forwards an alert to your mobile device.
Install the sensor near likely points of forced entry and avoid locations with constant heavy vibration or exposure to water. Regularly check battery status via ΣCentral and replace the CR2032 cell when low to maintain reliable detection. For full home monitoring, integrate ΣShock with other ΣCASA devices through the ΣCentral controller.
