Internal WLAN Network Card Edimax EW-7612PIN V2 300 Mbit/s
Internal WLAN Network Card Edimax EW-7612PIN V2 300 Mbit/s
The Edimax EW-7612PIn V2 is an internal WLAN network card for desktop computers that adds wireless connectivity via a PCI Express slot. Supporting IEEE 802.11b/g/n and data rates up to 300 Mbps, the card includes two high-gain 3 dBi detachable antennas, a WPS button for quick encrypted setup, and a low-profile bracket for installation in smaller chassis. It is designed to improve wireless coverage and provide stable connections for typical home and office networking tasks.
The EW-7612PIn V2 uses 2T2R MIMO technology and a chipset engineered to make full use of the PCI Express bus, which helps reduce collisions and latency compared with older PCI architectures. With support for up to 300 Mbps on 802.11n, two detachable 3 dBi antennas, and a one-touch WPS button, the adapter offers reliable throughput, extended signal range, and simplified secure setup. A low-profile bracket is included for installation in compact systems.
Power off the PC and insert the EW‑7612PIn V2 into an available PCI Express slot following the motherboard and case manufacturer instructions. Attach the supplied antennas (or optional extension cables) and install the low‑profile bracket if required. Boot the system, install drivers and the EZmax setup wizard from the supplied media or the manufacturer website, and follow the on‑screen steps to connect to a wireless network. Use the WPS button on the card and a WPS‑capable router for a one‑touch encrypted connection.
Place the antennas vertically and, if possible, connect the card to a PCIe slot with a clear line of sight to the router to improve signal strength. For best performance, use the adapter with 802.11n‑capable routers and keep drivers up to date from the EDIMAX support site.
