EDUP USB 2.0 Extension Cable with Base 1 m – EDUP ED-USB20DOCK-1M
EDUP USB 2.0 Extension Cable with Base 1 m (ED-USB20DOCK-1M) provides a reliable USB A-type extension that brings USB ports to a more convenient desktop position. The 1 m cable uses USB 2.0 technology with copper conductors and supports data transfer speeds up to 480 Mbit/s. The cable features a straight male USB connector and a stable female port mounted in a desktop base, allowing easier access to connected peripherals such as keyboards, mice, flash drives and printers.
The EDUP USB 2.0 extension cable combines a single-meter length with a dedicated desktop base to reduce strain on device ports and position the female connector within comfortable reach. Copper conductors and USB 2.0 compatibility ensure consistent data transfer at up to 480 Mbit/s. The straight male connector simplifies connection to host devices while the anchored female socket keeps peripherals accessible and stable during use.
Insert the USB Type A male connector into a free USB port on your computer or hub. Place the desktop base on a flat surface within easy reach and connect your peripheral to the female USB A socket. Ensure connectors are fully inserted to maintain a stable connection. The unit requires no drivers and is ready to use with devices that support USB 2.0 or are backward/forward compatible with USB A connectors.
Use the extension cable for devices that do not require USB 3.x bandwidth to avoid performance bottlenecks. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors and keep the desktop base on a stable, dry surface to prevent accidental disconnection. For long-term high-speed data transfer or power-hungry devices, consider using a USB 3.x cable or a powered hub.
