The EFB Elektronik EB853C Blue is a USB A plug to DSub 9‑pole (DB9) plug signal converter with a 1.8 m cable length. It enables connection of serial devices to a USB port and draws power from the USB interface. The converter uses the FTDI-232RL chipset and is supplied with a driver CD. It is compatible with a wide range of operating systems, including Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP/Vista/7/8/10, Linux and macOS.
