How to use

Fix the twist-on base to the ceiling using the supplied screw fixings, then connect the detector to the base by twisting it on until it locks. The alarm remains unpowered until attached to the base to prevent battery drain during storage. Press and hold the combined Test/Silence button to perform a full functional test and sound the horn. If a nuisance alarm activates, press the Test/Silence button to mute the alarm for a 10-minute period; the unit will automatically reset when smoke clears.

Usage recommendations
