How to use

Select the appropriate operating mode (hammer drilling, drilling, chiseling with or without chisel lock) using the mode selector. Insert the SDS-Plus bit or chisel into the chuck until it locks, or change accessories quickly without tools. Position the adjustable metal depth stop if repeat depths are required. Hold the vibration-absorbing main handle and the auxiliary handle with anti-twist lock for controlled operation. Apply steady pressure and start at low speed if necessary; increase to required speed up to the rated maximum while maintaining control. If a sudden jam occurs, the overload slip coupling will disengage to reduce kickback.

Usage recommendations

For safe operation, use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection and dust mask), select the correct drill or chisel type for the material, and avoid prolonged continuous use without breaks to prevent overheating.
