Drill Einhell RT-ID 65, Keyless Chuck, 650W, 2.1kg
The Drill Einhell RT-ID 65 is a compact electric drill designed for everyday home and workshop tasks. Equipped with a keyless chuck, a 650W motor and a lightweight 2.1 kg body, this model balances power and manoeuvrability. Its compact dimensions (approx. 120 mm width, 340 mm depth) make it suitable for working in confined spaces while still providing sufficient drilling capacity in wood, steel and concrete.
The keyless chuck enables quick, tool-free bit changes to reduce downtime during projects. The 650W motor delivers consistent rotational speed and torque for drilling through common materials: up to 25 mm in wood, up to 10 mm in steel, and up to 13 mm in masonry or concrete. At 2.1 kg the drill is easy to handle and causes less fatigue during extended use. The compact design improves access in tight areas and facilitates storage when not in use.
Fit the required drill bit into the keyless chuck and tighten it by hand until secure. Connect the drill to a suitable mains outlet and select the desired drilling position. Hold the tool with a firm two-handed grip where possible for improved control and accuracy; use a secondary handle if available. Start drilling at low speed to create a guide hole, then increase pressure and speed as appropriate for the material. After completing the hole, release the trigger and allow the drill to stop fully before setting it down.
Use appropriate drill bits for the target material (wood, metal, masonry). Wear eye protection and hearing protection when drilling, and secure workpieces with clamps. For repeated or prolonged drilling tasks, allow the motor to cool periodically. Avoid forcing the drill; let the motor and bit do the work to prevent damage to the tool or the material.
