The Einhell TP‑DW 18/225 Li – Solo cordless drywall sander from the Power X‑Change series is designed for sanding plaster and plasterboard on ceilings and walls during renovation and restoration work. It features electronic speed control for adapting the tool to different materials and applications, an integrated dust extraction system with a rotatable brush ring, a spring‑mounted sanding plate for consistent contact, and micro hook‑and‑loop fastening for sanding discs. The folding long handle and removable aluminium extension with additional handle allow compact storage and easier transport. The sander is supplied in a transport case with an extension hose with integrated foot, a dust bag with quick‑release lock and harness, six sheets of abrasive paper, an abrasive mesh and a vacuum adapter; battery and charger are not included.

How to use

Attach a suitable sanding disc to the micro hook‑and‑loop sanding plate and set the electronic speed to match the material and degree of sanding required. If possible, connect a vacuum cleaner via the supplied adapter or use the included dust bag to collect dust. Use the folding long handle or the aluminium extension for ceiling work to maintain a comfortable posture. Operate the sander with steady, overlapping passes and allow the spring‑mounted plate to maintain contact with the surface; avoid excessive pressure to prevent gouging. After use, disconnect accessories, empty the dust bag or vacuum, fold the handle and store the tool in the transport case.

Usage recommendations

For best results, use abrasive paper and mesh suited to plaster or joint compound and select a lower speed for fine finishing and a higher speed for heavier sanding. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment and ensure adequate ventilation when sanding indoors.
