EINHELL screwdriver bits T40 S2 50 mm, set of 2
Set of two EINHELL screwdriver bits T40 S2, each 50 mm long, designed to fit screwdrivers and impact drivers that accept interchangeable bits. These T40 Torx bits are manufactured from S2 tool steel to provide a balance of hardness and toughness for fastening and loosening Torx screws in a range of assembly, repair and maintenance tasks. The 50 mm length offers reach and control in recessed or hard-to-access fasteners while the standard 1/4" hex shank ensures compatibility with most bit holders and quick-change chucks.
The S2 tool steel construction delivers improved wear resistance compared with ordinary steel bits, helping to maintain the Torx profile under repetitive use. The precise T40 tip ensures accurate engagement with Torx screws, reducing cam-out and screw head damage. A 50 mm working length provides better access to recessed screws without sacrificing control, and the set of two ensures a spare or matching pair for continuous work. The standard hex shank simplifies use with powered drivers and manual bit holders.
Insert the bit into a compatible bit holder, quick-change chuck or screwdriver with a 1/4" hex socket. Ensure the bit is seated securely before applying torque. Select the T40 bit for Torx T40 fasteners and apply steady pressure while turning to engage the screw head. When using impact drivers, use controlled bursts and allow the bit to seat fully in the screw to minimise wear. Replace the bit if the tip shows visible rounding or damage to maintain safe and effective fastening.
For longer bit life, avoid excessive side loading and use the correct torque setting on powered drivers. Store bits in a dry place to prevent corrosion and keep a spare bit available in the set for uninterrupted work.
