Chisel (flat) EINHELL 250 mm SDS‑Plus model 49247504
Chisel (flat) EINHELL 250 mm SDS‑Plus model 49247504
The Einhell flat chisel 250 mm SDS‑Plus is a replacement and accessory tool for SDS‑Plus rotary hammers. Designed for chiselling, breaking and removing masonry, tile and concrete materials, this flat chisel offers a 250 mm working length that facilitates access to deeper joints and helps shape edges during demolition and renovation tasks. It fits SDS‑Plus tool holders and is intended for use where controlled material removal and straight-edge finishing are required.
The flat blade profile delivers a wide contact area for efficient material removal and consistent chip formation. Hardened steel construction provides wear resistance and reliable service in demanding jobs. Its SDS‑Plus shank ensures secure retention in compatible rotary hammers and allows quick tool changes to maintain workflow. The 250 mm length increases reach and leverage while preserving handling balance.
Insert the SDS‑Plus shank fully into the rotary hammer’s chuck and verify secure locking according to the rotary hammer manufacturer’s instructions. Position the chisel flat against the work surface at the desired angle and apply steady pressure while operating the hammer in the appropriate mode for chiselling or demolition. Move the tool in controlled passes to remove material evenly and avoid forcing the chisel at extreme angles which can increase wear. Allow the tool to cool periodically during extended use and inspect the cutting edge for wear or damage.
Use personal protective equipment including safety glasses, hearing protection and gloves. Match the hammer’s impact energy and rotation settings to the task and material. Replace the chisel if the blade becomes excessively worn, bent or cracked to maintain safety and performance.
