Drill bit SDS-plus EINHELL 10 x 160 mm for masonry and concrete
Drill bit SDS-plus EINHELL 10 x 160 mm for masonry and concrete is a single-flute rotary hammer bit engineered for drilling in concrete, brick and other hard building materials. Designed for use with SDS-plus rotary hammers, the bit offers reliable shank engagement, efficient chip evacuation and a geometry suited to anchor, dowel and conduit installation as well as general construction and renovation drilling.
The SDS-plus shank ensures fast, secure connection to compatible rotary hammers and reduces play during impact drilling. The cutting tip and flute profile are optimized for controlled drilling progress and effective removal of dust and debris, lowering the risk of clogging. Durable material and heat-treated surfaces provide wear resistance for repetitive drilling in masonry and concrete. The 10 mm diameter and 160 mm overall length balance access depth with stiffness for common on-site tasks.
Fit the SDS-plus shank into the rotary hammer chuck until it locks. Select the hammer-drill mode on the tool and apply steady axial pressure without forcing the bit; let the tool’s impact action perform the cutting. Withdraw the bit periodically to clear dust from the hole and to prevent overheating. For deeper holes, mark the desired drilling depth on the bit or use a depth stop on the rotary hammer. After use, clean the flute and store the bit in a dry place to avoid corrosion and maintain performance.
Use correct personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection and dust mask when drilling masonry and concrete. Match the bit diameter and length to anchor and fastener specifications, and ensure the rotary hammer is set to the proper mode and power level for the material. Replace the bit when cutting performance noticeably decreases to maintain hole accuracy and speed.
