Drill bit set Einhell-KWB 40 pcs, 25 mm length, in storage box
The Einhell-KWB 40 pcs drill bit set with 25 mm working length is a comprehensive accessory kit for common drilling and screwing tasks. Supplied in a compact L-CASE storage box (approx. 185×42×180 mm) with transparent lid and auto-lock clip, the set brings together a variety of bits, drill bits, sockets, a countersink and a quick-change holder compatible with standard 1/4" and C 6.3/E 6.3 shank chucks. Components are arranged in interchangeable inserts for organised storage and easy access.
The set contains hardened and roll-forged components selected for longevity and material-appropriate performance: grey sandblasted S2 steel driver bits for screwdriving, roll-forged HSS metal drills with 135° split-point tips for metal, carbon-steel wood drills with centre points for precise woodwork, and forged masonry drills with carbide tips for stone and concrete. A 60 mm quick-change bit holder with a strong magnet enables fast bit changes while five CV steel sockets extend the kit to common assembly and tightening tasks. The transparent lid and secure auto-lock closure keep the contents visible and safely stored.
Select the appropriate drill bit or driver bit for the material and fastener you are working with, and insert it into the drill chuck or the quick-change holder. For screwdriving, use the matching PH, PZ, H, T or SL bit to avoid cam‑out and damage to the screw head. When drilling metal, choose an HSS bit with the correct diameter, apply secure clamping and use appropriate cutting speed and lubrication if required. For wood, use the centre-point wood drills for straight starts; for masonry, use the carbide‑tipped masonry bits with a hammer‑drill mode if available. Store all components in the supplied L-CASE after use to protect the tools and keep them organised.
Use personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and gloves, secure workpieces in a vice or clamp, and match drill speed and pressure to the material: slower speeds and cutting fluid for metal, moderate speed for masonry with hammer action, and higher speeds for wood. Regularly inspect bits for wear and replace damaged bits to maintain safe and accurate results.
