The Einhell TC-EH 250 wire rope hoist is an electric lifting device for home, garden and workshop use. It is powered by a 500 W motor and comes with a 12 m, Ø 3 mm twist-free wire cable, a guide roller and a load hook with safety catch. The hoist lifts loads up to 250 kg when used with the guide roller (lifting height up to 5.7 m) and up to 125 kg without the guide roller (lifting height up to 11.5 m). Built-in safety features include an operator switch with an emergency stop function, a motor thermal switch, an automatic brake and an automatic limit cut-out. Two double clamps are supplied for secure fastening.

How to use

Secure the hoist using the supplied double clamps or an appropriate mounting accessory and, if required, fit the guide roller for higher load capacity and reduced cable wear. Connect the hoist to a 230 V, 50 Hz supply and use the insulated operator switch to raise or lower the load; the switch includes an emergency OFF that stops the motor immediately. Observe the maximum permitted loads: 250 kg with the guide roller and 125 kg without. Check that the safety catch on the load hook is engaged before lifting and ensure the wire cable remains untwisted during operation. The automatic limit cut-out will stop the hoist at the end positions; do not force travel beyond those stops.

Usage recommendations

For safe operation, inspect the wire cable, hook and safety catch before each use, do not exceed the specified load limits, and allow the motor to cool if the thermal switch has activated. Use the matching swing arm (sold separately) when lifting to higher storeys, and follow applicable local safety regulations and standard lifting practices.
