Cable pulling head electro base ROD-Head-9mm for fiberglass rods Ø 9 mm
Cable pulling head electro base ROD-Head-9mm for fiberglass rods Ø 9 mm
The electro base ROD-Head-9mm for fiberglass rods Ø 9 mm is an attachment designed to connect to the end of a 9 mm diameter fiberglass rod to enable cable pulling and guiding through conduits, ducts and narrow passages. It creates a fixed connection point for wires and small cables, helping to reduce snags and easing passage through bends and obstructions during installation in electrical and telecom routing tasks.
The ROD-Head-9mm offers a compact, low-profile shape that minimizes catch points and improves passage through tight bends. Constructed to fit standard 9 mm fiberglass rods securely, it provides a stable mechanical connection for pulling operations and helps keep the cable aligned with the rod. Its design supports repeated use and quick attachment and removal, reducing setup time on the jobsite.
Affix the ROD-Head-9mm to the leading end of a 9 mm fiberglass rod according to the rod manufacturer’s recommended connection method. Securely fasten the cable or wire to the head using an appropriate knot, coupling or fastening sleeve so the load transfers to the head during pulling. Feed the rod and attached head into the conduit and advance steadily; if resistance is encountered, retract slightly and reattempt with controlled forward motion to avoid overstressing the rod. After the cable has been pulled through, detach it from the head and remove the rod and head assembly.
Inspect the head and rod for wear or damage before each use. Match the head to a 9 mm fiberglass rod and to cable sizes appropriate for the head’s profile. Avoid excessive lateral loads and sharp impacts; use steady, controlled pulling force and suitable lubrication or fish tape when navigating long or obstructed conduit runs.
