3D printer filament Elegoo PETG Pro 1.75 mm 1 kg — Black
Elegoo PETG Pro 1.75 mm (1 kg) in Black is a PETG filament formulated for FDM/FFF 3D printers that require a balance of toughness, dimensional stability and ease of printing. Designed for technical and functional parts, this filament delivers improved layer adhesion and chemical resistance compared with typical PLA, while maintaining low warping and consistent feeding thanks to a controlled diameter.
Elegoo PETG Pro provides high mechanical durability, good impact and flex resistance and reliable thermal performance for parts exposed to elevated temperatures. The material shows improved resistance to moisture and UV compared with some other common printing plastics, and its narrow diameter tolerance reduces the risk of nozzle clogs and extrusion issues. Overall, it offers predictable printability for both prototypes and end-use components.
Load the Elegoo PETG Pro filament into your FDM/FFF 3D printer and set the nozzle temperature within the recommended 230–260 °C range. Use a heated bed set between 60–80 °C to minimise warping and improve first-layer adhesion; a PEI sheet, glass with suitable adhesive or painter’s tape can be used depending on your printer and part geometry. Print at moderate speeds to ensure good layer bonding and reduce stringing; enable retraction and tune retraction distance and speed for your hotend. Allow printed parts to cool gradually on the build plate before removal to preserve dimensional accuracy.
For best results, store the filament in a dry environment or sealed bag with desiccant to prevent moisture absorption. When printing detailed or tall models, consider enabling combing and coasting settings or lowering print speed to reduce stringing. Post-processing such as sanding and solvent-free adhesives are suitable for assembly; avoid aggressive solvents that may affect PETG surface finish.
