When it may not be suitable

This brass nozzle set is not ideal for abrasive filaments such as carbon-fiber, glow-in-the-dark or metal-filled blends because brass wears faster with abrasive additives. For high-abrasion materials, a hardened steel or coated nozzle is more appropriate. Also, extremely high-temperature filaments may require nozzle materials rated for higher temperatures.

How to use

Select a nozzle diameter that matches the desired layer height and print speed, power off the printer and heat the hotend to a low working temperature to ease removal of the existing nozzle. Use the supplied wrench to unscrew the old nozzle, install the replacement nozzle and tighten securely while the hotend is warm but stable. After installation, recalibrate bed leveling and adjust slicer settings (nozzle diameter, layer height, print speed, extrusion multiplier) before printing.
