This process ensures a watertight connection and prevents the cable from being pulled out of the enclosure.
For optimal performance, ensure that the dome nut is tightened sufficiently to create a uniform seal around the cable, but avoid over-tightening which could damage the gland or the cable insulation. Regularly inspect the connection during routine maintenance to ensure the seal remains intact and the cable is properly secured.
