Semi built-in Elica SKLOCK-S-90-2.0, Aluminium filter, Noise level: N/A
The Elica SKLOCK-S-90-2.0 is a semi built-in (pull out) kitchen extractor hood designed to integrate discreetly into overhead cabinets while providing effective ventilation. With a maximum extraction power of 425 m³/h, this silver-coloured unit supports both ducted and recirculating installation modes and uses an aluminium grease filter. Slider controls and two 2.5 W LED bulbs enable straightforward operation and task lighting. The hood is designed to balance extraction performance with energy efficiency, with an annual consumption of 49 kWh and a rated energy class on the A+++ to D scale.
The slim pull-out design preserves the look of kitchen cabinetry and offers on-demand extraction when needed. A 425 m³/h maximum airflow provides strong removal of cooking fumes for most household cooking needs, while the aluminium grease filter is washable and durable. Integrated LED lighting gives focused illumination over the cooking surface with low energy use, and slider controls allow immediate, tactile adjustment of fan settings. The unit’s 900 mm width covers wide cooktops and offers consistent performance across the surface.
Pull the hood forward to engage the extraction chamber and select the desired fan speed using the slider control. Use the lower fan settings for light frying and simmering, and higher settings for heavy frying or boiling to maintain clear air above the cooking surface. Switch on the integrated LED lights to illuminate pots and pans while cooking. If installed in recirculation mode, ensure that the charcoal filter (if used) is properly fitted according to the installation instructions; for ducted installations, verify that the ductwork is unobstructed to maintain rated airflow.
Clean the aluminium grease filter regularly according to the manufacturer’s instructions — typically by washing with warm soapy water or in a dishwasher if permitted — to maintain extraction efficiency and reduce noise. Inspect and replace any charcoal recirculation filters at intervals recommended for your cooking habits. Ensure professional installation for ducted connections and confirm clear duct routing to minimize noise and preserve the hood’s rated performance.
