Built-under hood Elica ELITE14 LUX GRIX/A/90, 898 mm, 500 m³/h, aluminium grease filter, 53 dB
The Elica ELITE14 LUX GRIX/A/90 is a built-under extractor hood designed for kitchens where discreet installation and effective ventilation are required. With a maximum extraction power of 500 m³/h and a compact profile (898 mm width, 180 mm height, 280 mm depth), it fits under cabinets while providing continuous airflow. The unit has a stainless steel/silver finish, an aluminium grease filter, button controls and two halogen bulbs with a combined power of 28 W. Typical power consumption is 226 W and the motor rated power is 170 W; sound level is 53 dB at normal operation.
The aluminium grease filter captures cooking grease and can be removed for cleaning, helping to maintain performance over time. Button controls provide straightforward operation for switching fan speeds and lighting. The halogen lighting offers bright, directional illumination of the cooking area. The built-under design conserves overhead space while the stainless steel finish resists stains and is easy to wipe clean. With a maximum extraction power of 500 m³/h the hood is capable of handling typical household cooking fumes while operating at a moderate noise level.
Install the extractor hood under a kitchen cabinet at the recommended height above the cooking surface, ensuring proper ducting or recirculation setup according to local ventilation codes. Use the button controls to select the desired fan speed before and during cooking to capture fumes effectively; increase extraction for frying or heavy steaming and reduce to a lower setting for simmering. Switch the halogen lights on to illuminate the hob area as needed. Remove the aluminium grease filter periodically and clean it according to the manufacturer’s instructions to maintain airflow and performance.
For best performance, operate the hood a few minutes before cooking and continue running it for several minutes after finishing to clear residual odors and steam. Clean the aluminium grease filter every 1–3 months depending on cooking frequency, and check the halogen bulbs regularly for proper function. If using recirculation mode, replace charcoal or anti-odour filters as recommended by the supplier to maintain odour removal efficiency.
