Built-in Elica NIKOLATESLA BL/F/83 83 cm zone induction hob with integrated hood, 4 zones, touch control, black
The Elica NIKOLATESLA BL/F/83 is an 83 cm built-in zone induction hob with an integrated hood combining cooktop and extractor in a single appliance. The black glass surface houses four induction cooking zones with touch controls positioned at the top-front, a digital timer, child lock and residual heat indicators. The central aspirating system supports both ducted and recirculating extraction modes with maximum airflow up to 647 m³/h, while the induction hob delivers rapid, efficient heating and easy surface cleaning. The appliance operates on 220–240 V, 50–60 Hz and has a connected load of 7400 W. Special functions include bridge zones for combining adjacent burners, automatic communication between hob and extractor to calibrate extraction power, and a 10-speed touch control that manages both cooking and aspiration levels.
The integrated hood and cooktop design reduces the need for a separate wall or ceiling hood and centralizes ventilation directly where steam and fumes are generated. Induction technology provides fast heating, precise power control and safer operation since heating is active only when pots are detected. Bridge zones allow use of large pans or griddles by joining adjacent zones into a single larger cooking area. The extractor system adapts aspiration power based on real-time information from the cooking zones to optimize fume capture and energy use. Accessible top-mounted filters (in the filtering version) and a grease filter grid simplify maintenance and cleaning.
Install the built-in unit into a compatible 83 cm cut-out following the manufacturer’s installation instructions and ventilation requirements for either ducted or recirculating configuration. Operate the appliance using the touch panel: select cooking zones or activate the bridge function to combine adjacent areas, set power levels and use the digital timer as needed. The extractor can be controlled from the same touch interface using the multi-speed settings; when available the unit will automatically adjust aspiration based on active zones and detected cooking activity. Use pots with flat, induction-compatible bases for best performance and ensure filters are correctly fitted when using the recirculating version.
For efficient extraction and cooking, position pots centrally on the zones and use the bridge function for large cookware. Regularly clean the glass surface with non-abrasive cleaners and replace or clean grease and odor filters according to usage and the instructions for the filtering or ducted version. To preserve energy and reduce noise, allow the automatic extractor calibration to manage fan speed rather than using maximum power continuously.
