Paper for Dot Matrix Printer EMERSON 240x12" 1-ply 60 g/m² 2000 sheets
EMERSON single-ply paper in 240x12" format is designed for dot matrix and other impact printers that accept continuous-feed or sheet-fed media of this size. With a basis weight of 60 g/m² and a pack quantity of 2000 sheets, the paper provides a thin, consistent substrate for high-speed impact printing of invoices, receipts, reports and multi-part business forms where one-ply output is sufficient.
The paper offers uniform surface and consistent thickness to help maintain reliable tractor-feed and pin-feed performance in dot matrix mechanisms. Its 60 g/m² weight balances feed stability and ink/impact transfer, reducing jamming and misfeeds while keeping pack weight and storage needs moderate. Single-ply construction makes it suitable for simple, lightweight documents and improves throughput where multipart sets are not required.
This one-ply 60 g/m² paper is not intended for applications that require carbonless, multi-part copies or heavier, more opaque stock. It may show more show-through or translucency compared with heavier papers, and is less suitable where document durability, long-term archival quality or high-resolution inkjet printing is needed.
Load the paper into the printer according to the manufacturer's instructions for 240x12" media, ensuring proper alignment with tractor or pin-feed holes if present. Adjust print settings for impact printing and the paper weight to optimize strike quality. Run a short test print after loading to confirm feed and print alignment, then proceed with production runs. Store unused packs flat in a dry environment to maintain paper flatness and feed reliability.
For best results, use in well-maintained dot matrix printers with clean tractor/pin-feed mechanisms; adjust strike force and print density settings to achieve clear impressions while minimising wear on print ribbons and pins.
