EMOS 10983 is a digital thermometer-hygrometer with a 2 m wired external probe that measures indoor and outdoor temperature and indoor relative humidity. It displays current, minimum and maximum temperatures and includes a frost alarm. The compact device is intended for home, office or hobby use where a separate probe placement is required, for example in a fridge, greenhouse or another room.

The wired external probe allows measurement at a distance from the main unit while the clear digital display shows indoor and outdoor temperature values, indoor humidity, and stored minimum and maximum temperatures. How to use

Insert two 1.5 V AAA batteries into the battery compartment, place or mount the main unit in the desired indoor location and run the 2 m probe cable to the measurement point. Position the probe where you need temperature readings (for example outside a window, inside a fridge or in a greenhouse) and wait for the display to stabilise. Use the device controls to view current, minimum and maximum values and to activate the frost alarm if available.

Usage recommendations

Place the probe away from direct heat sources, sunlight and draughts for accurate readings. Replace batteries when the display becomes faint and avoid exposing the main unit to excessive moisture.
